Erwan is the founder of BreathHoldWork®—a structured system that uses intentional breathing and breath-holding under neurophysiological stress to help people master their inner self.
He holds the U.S. National Record in Static Apnea under CMAS rules, officially validated by the U.S. Freediving Federation, with a 7’29” breath hold. His personal best is 8 minutes and 3 seconds—achieved through the same method he now teaches.
These records aren't just a title—it’s living proof of elite-level nervous system control under oxygen deprivation and CO₂ buildup. It anchors a method designed to train neural mastery, emotional resilience, and inner transformation.
BreathHoldWork® was built so anyone—regardless of background—can access the inner strength, clarity, and resilience revealed through the practice.

“I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to have participated in such an invigorating event as the BreathHoldWork Retreat led by Erwan.
It took place in a stunning natural environment that fostered a supportive and trusting atmosphere. This setting was ideal for exploring our potential through breath-holding techniques.
Erwan’s intuitive teaching style was remarkably adaptable, catering to each participant’s unique needs while ensuring a safe space for personal challenges. The experience was powerful and profoundly transformative, allowing me to connect deeply with a sense of internal timelessness. It left me revitalized and instilled a new direction in my life.
Additionally, the retreat facilitated the formation of meaningful connections with fellow attendees.
I wholeheartedly recommend this retreat for anyone seeking personal growth.”
“Every participant that attempted a maximum breath-hold at the retreat achieved their personal record. But far more important than those accomplishments are the psychological and spiritual insights that were absorbed through Erwan’s heartfelt teachings. It was a unique experience to train firsthand with him and observe his commitment to both the BreathHoldWork practice and the lives of his students.”
